Hi, welcome to my site!  I’m Avril, and I’m an artist based in Wantage, in Oxfordshire, UK.

I specialise in animals and pet portraits using pastels and coloured pencils, and I am always looking for new ways to explore different mediums.

I believe that all animals have their own personality, and sometimes even a sense of humour.  If you watch an animal for long enough, it will do something entertaining – possibly on purpose.

I aim to combine my passion for drawing and colour with my love of animals to create colourful and interesting art.  If you would like to chat about commissioning a pet portrait, or something a bit different, contact me now.
